Webcast Description:
This session will present an overview on how HP has made the most mission critical, Availability Level 4 platform–"NonStop" available on standards based, modular components by leveraging standards based technologies without losing any of NonStop fundamentals: reliability, availability, and scalability (serviceability).
The speaker will discuss HP Integrity NonStop BladeSystem platform at both technology and component level. In addition, the speaker will discuss the new I/O infrastructure that is introduced along with NonStop BladeSystem.
For current NonStop customers, the session will include comparison between NonStop BladeSystem and current NonStop platforms – Integrity NonStop as well as S-series.
For users with growing need for mission critical services with highest levels of SLA, this session will introduce them to a new and affordable option – HP Integrity NonStop BladeSystem.

Mittal Parekh is a product manager with HP’s NonStop Enterprise Division, a part of Business Critical Systems Division. Mittal is responsible for NonStop BladeSystem platform, S-series platform as well as all NonStop platforms for Communications, Media and Entertainment industries. Prior to NonStop, Mittal held a product marketing position with HP software focusing on OpenView Identity and Security management software suite. Before joining HP, Mittal spent several years designing and developing software spanning a broad spectrum from mainframes to open source based technologies.
Mittal holds an MBA from Cornell University in addition to a bachelor's and a master's degree in computer science and engineering.
