A Service Oriented Architecture can be used to build interoperability between all systems in an enterprise by integrating NonStop systems, data warehouse systems, Linux and Unix systems. This can be achieved by deploying a combination of Web Services, message-oriented services or distributed object solutions.
The NonStop SOA SIG provides a forum to exchange knowledge, experiences and ideas on creating and managing a Service Oriented Architecture primarily, but not limited to, a NonStop platform.
The NonStop SOA SIG will also act as an advocate to HP and HP Alliance Partners to help shape future products and enhancements. Join the SOA SIG mailing list!
Topics discussed include:
- Protocol Standards for SOAP, XML, WSDL and other services languages
- NonStop products specifically for SOA (such as iTP Webserver, Fast Parser, etc.)
- Best practices for a SOA environment (such as version control for WDSL and XML)
- SOA software tools (third party development tools like plug-ins for the Eclipse environment, tools developed that make use of services, tools for modeling & analysis, design tools, test tools, performance measurement, etc.)
