NonStop Tokenization AND Beyond

  • Reduce business liability as SecurDPS replaces in-the-clear sensitive data with a token value that is meaningless if it is exposed
  • Achieve true compliance (PCI, HIPAA, GDPR) as SecurDPS reduces compliance scope by meeting the requirement for no sensitive data on your core enterprise components
  • Avoid accidental exposure by insiders or 3rd party vendors since sensitive data will no longer be in-the-clear, and will require proper authorization to expose the original data
  • Continue to grow and land new business as you exchange data with other companies in a manner that does not expose sensitive data
  • Reduce dependency on compensating controls as a temporary measure to pass Security Audits

We will show how this is implemented on NonStop and then extended to the Enterprise.

The move to APIs: Using REST with HPE NonStop Applications

As technology evolves, so does the software that supports it,and RESTful APIs are becoming more commonplace in our ever-changing NonStop landscape. ProgrammableWeb statistics show that over 80% of all APIs in use today are RESTful, and there has been a massive surge in REST API development in the last couple of years. Nuwave will show you how to integrate your NonStop applications with REST Web services bringing the full benefit of public and private services into your NonStop applications through several demonstrations of NuWave’s LightWave product suite.

Introducing HPE NonStop SQLXPress and MARS

Data is the lifeblood of mission-critical applications, and HPE NonStop customers rely on the powerful capabilities of NonStop databases to store, analyze and manage that data. Therefore, NonStop customers need to ensure that NonStop databases are well-organized, using efficient queries, and run at peak-performance. Database management is such an important area that HPE has just added two solutions to the HPE price book:  HPE NonStop SQLXPress and HPE NonStop MARS. This session will review the need for database management on the NonStop platform, and discuss the functionality and benefits of the SQLXPress and MARS solutions. A highlight of the session will be a SQLXPress customer use case presented by C.R. Laurence.

How to Build an Application with 99.99999% Availability

The OmniPayments Financial Transaction Switch thrives within the demands of a 24x7 world. It delivers real-time, continuously available payments services that optimize each user interaction for OmniPayments’ financial and retail customers. Our Switch doesn’t deliver five or six 9s availability. Instead, we offer the competitive edge of seven 9s availability - only 3.1536 seconds of downtime per year. Whether our clients take advantage of our standalone Switch or a pay-for-use instance in OmniCloudX, available to them is our entire suite of flexible solutions, all built on a secure, active/active architecture. OmniPayments systems in production today process 1 billion transactions per month via ATMs, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and web/mobile applications. How we succeed in this 24x7 environment is the focus of our presentation.
