PTS 2019 – NonStop Partner Technology Symposium 2019
September 9-11th, 2019
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the fourth HPE NonStop Partner Technical Symposium (PTS). This event will be held on Monday, September 9th at HPE’s beautiful new headquarters offices located at 6280 America Center Drive, in San Jose, California 95002.
There is no charge to participate in this event. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided at HPE, and an evening reception will be held at The Plaza Suites. Partners are responsible for handling their own travel and lodging expenses. You will receive a temporary badge when you check in at the new HPE Building for the event. A map of the area is provided in this package to help you plan.
Monday, September 9th’s event will be a day of general session presentations about recently released products and NonStop futures that we believe are relevant to partners. We will be joined by members of the Engineering and Management teams for some topics. The current agenda is included in this package and is for all attendees. We have attempted to categorize talks by technical vs business topics.
Each partner should fill out one registration form on behalf of their company. Each partner is limited to 3 attendees at the event. We may be able to accommodate more, but won’t know until we get closer to the event so check in with us in mid-July. There will be no dial-in offered for the general sessions on Monday, and we will not provide event materials or hold special private sessions with partners who have chosen not to attend.
You may request a private business meeting with HPE NonStop Management for either Tuesday 9/10 or Wednesday 9/11. The meeting can be up to 1 hour long and will also be held in the event facility at 6280 America Center Drive in San Jose. Use the registration form included in this package to make the meeting request. We can accommodate remote dial-in participants in the individual partner meetings. If you have multiple topics that cannot be covered in a single meeting, we will try to accommodate you for additional meetings once we have filled all the initial meeting requests from other attendees. Again, please check back with us just prior to the event. Alternatively, we will be happy to work with you to arrange a separate meeting outside of the Symposium dates.
In order to attend, you need to be covered by a Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement prior to the event. The CDA means that you agree not to discuss topics raised during the event with NonStop customers or other partners without HPE’s advance approval. You may not blog or write articles about topics discussed in the PTS without our permission in writing. If you already have a CDA on file with us that is active through December 2020, please include a copy with your registration. If we actively resell your product and we have a Master Service Agreement on file, you are not required to sign another CDA as the Confidentiality Section of the Master Agreement covers what you can and cannot do with “confidential” information.
A CDA form is included in the registration package for those who either do not have one on file with us or need to renew the CDA. You will need to sign the form and return it with your registration paperwork. The CDA covers you until the end of December 2020 and can be invoked for follow-on conversations after the event. The CDA covers your entire company, and only one needs to be filled in and signed on behalf of all the people attending. Your company is responsible for protecting information received by anyone it sends to the event, including contract staff. The CDA also obligates HPE to protect any information you disclose to us during private meetings.
We have arranged for a block of rooms at The Plaza Suites located at 3100 Lakeside Drive, Santa Clara, CA. This is the first year that we’ve done this and the rate is an excellent one for Silicon Valley. See the hotel option flyer in this package for details and instructions how to book your reservation.
At our previous events, we have offered sponsorship opportunities to various partners for the breakfast, lunch and evening reception. If you are interested in being a sponsor, please see the sponsorship information flyer in this package. Include your request to sponsor along with your registration form. Sponsorship is not required to attend.
To register, fill out the registration form and the sponsorship form (if interested), sign the CDA form as needed and send both to Phyllis Longbons with a copy to Karen Copeland. Include any questions you may have after looking at the Registration Package. Phyllis will confirm your registration by email along with the date/time of your meeting with us if requested and provide information on what to do when you arrive to attend the event.
We hope you will join us – continued participation will help us decide if we should keep offering this event in the future. Let us know if there’s something we can do to make your trip more enjoyable. Everyone at HPE NonStop is looking forward to seeing you there!
